color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt;--&lt;br /&gt;Press-release&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt;Uma Exposição sem Qualidades&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt;A presente exposição de António de Sousa tem como título Uma Exposição sem Qualidades e remete-nos para essa obra maior da literatura do século XX, O Homem sem Qualidades, de Robert Musil. Nessa obra impregnada de ideias, Musil procura superar a dicotomia entre o pensamento e a experiência e evidenciar que não são inconciliáveis. O seu protagonista, Ulrich, acometido pelos mais diversos pensamentos, apresenta-se como um Homem sem propriedades, sem conotações valorativas. Uma entidade cujo ser se encontra disponível para todas as possibilidades e, como tal, aberto à experiência.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt;António de Sousa acredita que estes pressupostos continuam válidos e pertinentes, plenos na sua operatividade artística. Tem sido, aliás, na fissura existente entre as ideias e a experiência, e no assumir do risco e da concomitante possibilidade de falhar, que o seu trabalho se tem desenvolvido. Terminou a licenciatura em Artes Plásticas - Pintura, na Escola Superior de Belas Artes do Porto, em 1994.
